§ 1. Corporate name.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Georgia, and it is hereby enacted by authority of the same, that from and after the passage of this Act, the name of that municipality of Forsyth County, Georgia, the county seat of said county, heretofore known and designated as the "Town of Cumming" shall be and is hereby changed to the "City of Cumming" by which name said municipality and county seat shall be henceforth known and designated, and an Act to incorporate and provide a new Charter for the Town of Cumming approved October 10, 1885, and all Acts amendatory thereof, be and the same are hereby consolidated into and superseded by this Act, and all provisions of former Acts inconsistent or at variance with this Act or any provisions hereof are hereby expressly repealed, and all laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act be and the same are hereby repealed.
