§ 109-102. Action on the preliminary plat.

Within 15 working days of receipt of the completed application for preliminary plat, the administrative officer shall either approve the plat as submitted and notify the applicant in writing thereof, approve the plat with conditions, or disapprove the plat along with reasons for said disapproval made in writing to the applicant. Approval of the preliminary plat shall not constitute approval of land development plans or the final plat; rather, it shall constitute approval of the layout submitted on the preliminary plat to be used as a guide for the preparation of land development regulations and the final plat. Preliminary plat approval shall continue in effect for a period of one year.
